Is this what Prime Minister Ishiba intended? The Liberal Democratic Party suffered a crushing defeat in the election.
As I wrote last time, I feel that Prime Minister Ishiba is an assassin sent to Japan.
In other words, he is also an assassin for his own party, the Liberal Democratic Party(hereinafter called LDP) of Japan.
We cannot understand what Prime Minister Ishiba wants to do for Japan.
This is a story from when Mr. Ishiba was a member of the Diet. When a certain issue occurred, there was a lot of discontent among the noisy minority regarding the prime minister’s response at the time.
Now that he is prime minister, when he talks about tax cuts, pensions, and rice issues in interviews, I can’t understand what he really wants to do.
In my personal opinion, Prime Minister Ishiba says he wants to “improve the lives of the people,” but in reality, it seems that he only wants to improve his own life while maintaining the old system.
At a time when the price of rice had skyrocketed and people could not afford to buy rice, the then Minister of Agriculture, Eto, said, “I have never bought rice.” Do you feel that this cabinet understands the suffering of the people?
Furthermore, when Ministry of Agriculture Minister Eto released the emergency rice stocks, he imposed restrictions on purchasers and introduced a bidding system, which resulted in 94% of the rice being sold at high prices to JA Agricultural Cooperative, despite the problems with rice distribution. In the end, the rice was not immediately distributed, and prices did not go down. This cabinet chose to protect old systems rather than the lives of the people.
The opposition party’s bill to abolish the provisional gasoline tax rate was also scrapped.
I got the strong impression that Prime Minister Ishiba has no intention of cutting taxes.
Pension reform? I think the first step should be to reform the parliamentary pension system.
Do you think Prime Minister Ishiba wants to win the election?
That is why I said that Prime Minister Ishiba is the assassin of Japan and the Liberal Democratic Party.
Prime Minister Ishiba’s achievements
- The first major achievement of Prime Minister Ishiba was his crushing defeat in the recent House of Representatives election.
- Recently, he has shown no strategy or resistance to the US’s planned 25% tariff on Japanese imports. Shouting “We won’t be pushed around!” domestically will achieve nothing.
- He has suffered a historic defeat in the recent House of Councillors election.
What surprised us is that Prime Minister Ishiba has expressed his “strong intention to continue in his post.
