At the moment, we are carefully considering what we should start doing next.
If there are any interesting topics or projects that you all might enjoy, we’d certainly like to give them a go.
Supporting Overseas Companies in Entering the Japanese Market
One idea we are considering is a ‘start-up support’ service to assist overseas companies in entering the Japanese market.
Some overseas small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) possess tremendous potential.
However, even if they have excellent products or services, there are various barriers to entering the Japanese market, such as language, culture, business practices and marketing.
We are therefore considering whether we might be able to provide support to such overseas companies as they enter the Japanese market.
Although this is still at the conceptual stage, our goal is to provide support that goes beyond simply selling products in Japan; we would like to work with them to develop strategies tailored to the Japanese market.
We hope to provide specific updates on this support at an early stage.
We are still in the process of considering the details, but we would like to bring this idea to fruition step by step, as we believe it is an interesting project that will be of benefit to others.
Baseball Support Chat
For example, we think an initiative such as a ‘Baseball Support Chat’ might be an interesting idea.
A famous site previously ran a support chat covering all professional baseball matches, but this has now ended.
There are several possible reasons for its ending, but one of them may have been the difficulty in dealing with blasphemous language and defamatory comments contained within the messages of support.
However, technologies such as Transformers, NLP (Natural Language Processing) and LLM (Large Language Models) have now advanced significantly.
By utilizing these technologies, we believe it would be possible to respond more appropriately than before, for instance by detecting unacceptable posts or restricting them where necessary.
We also feel that, compared to the past, it seems that an increasing number of professional baseball fans today are not simply ‘supporting their favourite team’, but are enjoying professional baseball itself as fans.
Therefore, we think it would make for an interesting initiative if we could create a space where professional baseball fans, not just supporters of specific teams, could come together to enjoy the games.
