Japanese media and Diet members strongly supporting China

We see the news reporting that China is intervening in other countries’ politics.
We can understand this this is actual happening when considering the situation in South Korea.
The current situation makes us feel Japan is also in the extremely dangerous situation.

We see the distribution claiming that Prime Minister Takaichi is the cause of China’s threats and harassment toward Japan.
As I’ve stated before, statements made on television programs or in news articles should be treated as the official stance of that media outlet. In other words, this TV station is likely claiming the Japanese Prime Minister is the cause precisely because it supports China’s threats and harassment.

The issue began when Councilor Okada of the Constitutional Democratic Party(hereinafter called CDP) of Japan repeatedly cited specific place names and asked Prime Minister Takaichi for her views on them.Even so, Prime Minister Takaichi made no response with any specific place names and spoke only in hypothetical terms.
Later, Councilor Okada mentioned that as if he was shifting blame, “I thought (Prime Minister Takaichi’s statement) was problematic and immediately changed the subject.” However, it didn’t feel like he changed the subject. Furthermore, he persistently asked questions multiple times, so I don’t find his word “problematic” credible.
Again, Prime Minister Takaichi did not respond with specific place names.
The post by Consulate-General of the People’s Republic of China in Osaka that could be interpreted as suggesting murder was made as a reply to an Asahi Shimbun article.
Regarding this sequence of events, as people have different viewpoints, we will not state our own viewpoint.

This issue has triggered China to harass Japan not only through economic harassment like ‘”halting marine product imports”, but even using private events “the refraining from travel to Japan” as a means of harassment.
China’s goal is probably to force Prime Minister Takaichi to resign by lowering her approval ratings.
What’s ridiculous is that many media outlets including the mainstream medias in Japan are distributing exaggerated reports of Japan’s economic damage in lockstep with China.

The major miscalculation by Chinese and Japanese medias is the existence of Prime Minister Takaichi and the conservative opposition parties.
It is Prime Minister Takaichi’s stance of not yielding to China’s unprovoked  threats and harassment, and the existence of opposition parties supporting that Prime Minister Takaichi.
Regarding the recent “the halting marine product imports” and “the refraining from travel to Japan”, voices of welcome are emerging not only from Diet members but also from the public. 
In fact, Prime Minister Takaichi’s approval ratings are rising.

Now, let’s get to the main point.
I was extremely surprised to hear someone on the TV program of a major TV station state that the current threats and harassment from China are ‘‘the human-made disaster (caused by Prime Minister Takaichi)”.
This statement came during a report about how Japan’s tourism industry is damaged by the refraining from travel to Japan by China.

This theory is exactly the same as the people who cry out for abandoning national defense, saying “Japan gets attacked because it builds military bases.”
In other words, it treats vital national defense of an independent nation as evil, and a nation that unilaterally attacks as good.
If this theory can be accepted, it means attacks on countries with militaries will always be justified. And war will never cease to exist.

Regarding this issue, Prime Minister Takaichi merely responded hypothetically about national defense.
We don’t know what their intent was, but the newspaper company belonging to the same group as the TV station that aired this program published an article stating “If recognized, military force could be used.” We feel this is what triggered China’s threats and harassment.

In democratic nations, individual tourism is one of the rights granted to citizens. And the nation does not revoke individual rights based on political conflicts. (Except in cases where life is in danger.)
China is a one-party state, and its citizens have no true freedom. Is it only us who feel that the stance of left-wing media outlets and traditional opposition parties mirrors China’s position ?
The person making the problematic statement appears to support one-party state, completely ignoring China’s threats and harassment.
Rather, they are blaming Japan’s Prime Minister who has not applied any political pressure on China.

People’s way of thinking varies greatly, so it’s not surprising that some strongly support such a one-party state.
However, their way of thinking is incompatible with ours, and even if the reason for their support were explained, we probably wouldn’t understand it.
In our opinon, if the current situation is a ‘”human-made disaster ” as he stated, then that criticism should be directed at China.
