The danger of lawmakers and the old media who use unreliable articles to erase citizens from society

Also, another lawmaker is treating Prime Minister Takaichi as the perpetrator and pressing her on issues based on no evidence from his own investigation whatsoever, citing only articles from a weekly magazine as proof. And regarding Prime Minister Takaichi’s response, he adopted an unpleasantly condescending attitude with statements like, “What are you rambling on about by yourself for four whole minutes ?”
Without being able to show any solid evidence, they are labeling the other person as the perpetrator and demanding, “If you deny it, show us the evidence.” This demand goes beyond the problem of “proving a negative.”
If this logic becomes acceptable, this world will become a place where “the one who speaks first wins.”
In other words, if you want to eliminate someone you dislike from society or your community, all you have to do is do the same thing.
If children do the same thing at school, it would be considered “despicable bullying.”
What I find hard to understand are the statements made by one lawmaker in the Diet, which seem as if he were collaborating with a weekly magazine. His statements sound as if he were intimidating others to get their paid memberships.
Regarding Prime Minister Takaichi’s response that she “has no intention of becoming a paid member,” that lawmaker criticized her with the statement “What was the notification of the question for? I understand the Prime Minister is busy, but the public is watching. It’s unacceptable”.
If that lawmaker is going to use precious Diet time to treat the Prime Minister as the perpetrator and grill her, he should show solid evidence in the Diet.
His statement that “It’s unacceptable” seems like nothing more than an expression of anger that Prime Minister Takaichi did not become a paid member.
The news agency and weekly magazine involved have deleted some of the data that lawmakers from the left-wing political parties used as evidence, citing inconsistencies between the timing of the events and the timeline.

This attitude of “refusing to apologize” is frequently seen among the left. For this news agency, it may be a natural stance. However, it was surprising to find that even this weekly magazine had shifted to the left.
It seems that one of Prime Minister Takaichi’s secretaries made statements suggesting that “this weekly magazine receives 10 million yen from China every week.”
The weekly magazine called out simply claims in an article attacking Prime Minister Takaichi’s character that this is a “baseless conspiracy theory.” This feels like shifting the focus away from the issue by attacking the other person’s character and dismissing the statement as coming from individuals with character flaws.
This secretary’s statement uses the same scheme as the lawmakers from the left-wing political parties who are pursuing Prime Minister Takaichi in the Diet as the perpetrator.
In other words, it’s exactly the same scheme with lawmakers from the left-wing political parties who cannot show solid evidence demanding that Prime Minister Takaichi “show the evidence if you deny it.”
Of course, if the allegations regarding relations with China are completely baseless, this weekly magazine should also show the evidence.
We are not dismissing this type of weekly magazine.
However, attacks that disregard the other person’s character and could be interpreted as slander have gone too far.
Currently, many AI-generated fake videos are being posted.
This article by the news agency and weekly magazine feels similar to the stance of our neighboring country, which continues to strongly criticize Prime Minister Takaichi.
We believe that exposés should simply present solid evidence and facts.
